Used as a holiday home for ski and hiking enthusiasts, the owners of this chalet wanted to maximize their building’s energy efficiency and provide visitors with a truly unique experience.

Each of the building’s 11 rooms were fully automated by the HDL team, so that visitors could control each room’s lighting, curtains, and heating from a single point.

As the building is often vacant during the summer months, HDL technicians also created presence simulation and frost protection   scenes.

Enabling the chalet to actively protect itself, these scenes can be triggered automatically or remotely from the owner’s iOS and Android devices.

This ensures that when there are no visitors for a week, a month, or even a year, the building will remain exactly as it was left.
